On the floor is a dog dart board in the middle
The bullseye has a diameter of 50 cm and a value of 100 points.
The 2nd ring has a diameter of 2.50 meters and a value of 50 points
The 3rd ring has a diameter of 4.50 meters and a value of 30 points
The 4th ring has a diameter of 6.50 meters and a value of 10 points
The throwing distances respectively 15 meters (novice) and 20 meters (open) from the outer ring.
Points are only counted if the dog catches the Frisbee in the zone in which it lands with both front legs! If the dog lands with its front legs in 2 different zones, the zone with the lowest number of points counts. Except in the bullseye there is one front leg enough.
Each team (1 dog & 1 handler) gets 5 throws per round from a throwing box that measures 2.50 x 2.50 meters with a time allowed of 90 seconds for the open class and 120 seconds for the starter class. There will eventually be 3 rounds in total. The total score of the 3 rounds ultimately determines the final score.
The time starts to run when you enter the throwing box. The handler may not leave the throwing box during his throwing round! If the handler steps outside the throwing box during the throwing round, he will be disqualified for this throwing round and the handler will lose the points obtained.
If there is a tie (final) result, a shoot-out is played by throwing one Frisbee until a winner is known.
